coruscate: solidago is a document of the third in a series of outdoor installations, the first in a wild grassland near the Mexican border in Arizona, the second in a manicured landscape in Albuquerque New Mexico, the third in a field of wild goldenrod on a tree farm in Ohio. In each version, I tied individual tinsel “icicles” to each blade of grass or wildflower. As the wind moved across these environments, the “icicles” were transformed into thousands of twinkling reflections of sunlight.
